- Singer-Songwriter Keelan Donovan has been pumping out great songs for a long time - so good, in fact, that he moved to Nashville to make a career out of it. He's back in town this weekend, and performing compositions new and old. Catch him before he's selling out bigger rooms!

FRIDAY 1/4

Tim Mercer Full Band Acoustic Show
St Lawrence Center for the Arts (Portland)
7:00pm Show
$12 Advance / $15 Day of Show
All Ages
- Tim Mercer has been a strong force in the local rock scene for a while now, and with good reason: he writes great songs, and injects them with the bold attitude mainstream rock has been missing for a while. Check this show out to see a rare glimpse of his more sensitive side.

Sparks the Rescue
The Brunswick (Old Orchard Beach)
8:30pm Show
Free
21+
- Sparks the Rescue's blend of pop-punk and hardcore influences have taken them all kinds of places - Europe, Warped Tour, you name it! They're on full display this weekend at The Brunswick, where we can all get close enough to high-five Alex Roy on stage. Anyone else miss him hanging off the piping on the ceiling when The Station was still around?

Drivetrain, Cruel Miracle, Cryptid
Geno’s Rock Club (Portland)
8:30pm Doors / 9:00pm Show
$7 Tickets
21+
- Geared more towards the hard rock fans, this show is headlined by the phenomenal Drivetrain. Their new record, Muscles Big, encompasses both hard rock, and 80s, pre-skinny-jean hardcore at their best. Check it out if you're down to mosh! Though, I can't recommend it fully, as Geno's has stairs leading down to the stage.
