I can't quite figure out if Mainers love or hate a good winter storm. In one sense, we hate it because it puts a damper on our schedules, and typically involves a lot of digging out. On the other hand, it does slow life down just a little, which can be a huge relief. Plus, we love having something mutual to complain about, right?

Well I'm either happy or sad to break it to you, but this weekend's "massive" storm has been blown a little out of proportion. Social media sensationalism, right?

And there we have it. It'll certainly be big, but not close enough to be a direct hit. Personally, that's a relief to me - I've got a busy weekend, and extreme weather isn't something I'd be looking forward to.
