Root Beer With Alcohol Has Made its Way to Maine

So I'm at the Porthole on Sunday and my co-worker Bubba (that's not his real name, that's just what I call him for no particular reason) offers me a sip of his "root beer." My first instinct was being a bit surprised that he was sipping on a root beer...not that there's anything wrong with that. He then proceeded to tell me that it's actually beer, with alcohol. Now I'm curious.

Much like some other bottled alcoholic beverages, I had a hard time tasting the alcohol in the new Not Your Father's Root Beer. Some of us know from experience that can be dangerous! Joey from the CYY Morning Show is still learning that lesson when he uncontrollably devours a 6 pack of Seagram wine coolers and is all of a sudden twirling his shirt over his head like a helicopter.

Still trying to figure out the name of the beer hailing from Illinois, shouldn't it be "Your Father's Root Beer?" Etiher way, local retailers say they're having a hard time keeping this new treat on the shelves. I can see that, it's very tasty. Although I'm sure it's not for everyone, I recommend you give it a try!
