The Portland Seadogs will start their post season play tonight in Binghamton, N.Y., and lefty Brian Johnson will get the start. While many top ranked prospects moved on from Double-A during the season, the Boston Red Sox kept Johnson with the Seadogs and he has put up incredible stats.

A 10-2 record with an ERA of 1.75. Johnson's strikeouts-to-walks numbers are 99-32. Eastern League teams are hitting just .189 against him.

The series is best-of-five.

NOTE: Newly signed Cuban outfielder Rusney Castillo will join Johnson and the Seadogs tonight in Binghamton. He is expected to play centerfield.

The Pawtucket Red Sox begin their International League Triple-A playoff series tonight against Syracuse. Eduardo Escobar, the lefty pitcher acquired in the Jake Peavy trade will start that game.
