The Boston Celtics ran their winning streak to a season high 4 games after beating the New York Knicks 100-91 While the Bruins dropped their third straight 3-1 in Ottawa.

The Celtics were in control of their game from the start and placed four players in double figures led by Isaiah Thomas who finished with 21 points, 6 assists and 8 rebounds.

Evan Turner added 19 points, Jae Crowder 18 and Kelly Olynyk also finished with double digits with 11 points to go along with 9 rebounds. Marcus Smart returned to lineup and played 13 minutes. During that time he had 6 points and 3 boards.

Next up for the Celtics is a Wednesday game against the Lakers as Kobe Bryant makes his final appearance at the Boston Garden.

One goal each period was enough for the Ottawa Senators to beat the Boston Bruins by a 3-1 score as Boston continues to search for a scoring touch. They did out shoot the Senators 39-21 but could not get the puck past Craig Anderson who finished with 30 saves.

David Krejci's 11th goal of the season tied the game in the second period. However Mika Zibanejad was able to score the game winner with just 1:40 to play in the period.

The Bruins will return home and play Ottawa on Tuesday then get ready the New Years day game against Montreal at Gillette Stadium.
