Imagine a life where you could wear a condom and almost instantaneously know if you or your partner have a sexually transmitted infection? According to CNN, three teens from the U.K. proposed that very idea at the TeenTech awards and won for their innovative conceptual idea.

The next big question is; is a condom that changes colors based on coming in contact with various STI's even possible? The answer is yes. Several leading scientists and professors confirmed that given where molecular technology is in today's world, a condom like this is a serious possibility.

An anonymous condom brand has also begun negotiations with the teens on acquiring their idea for mass production once the technology is perfected. The full article from CNN is here.

So if color changing condoms become a "thing", does that make the revelation that you or your partner have an STI any less awkward or scary?
