No need to grab the shovels and snowblowers yet, but if you were Auburn, Maine today, you might have thought that was the case. People were left staring through the fence into the airport on a mid-August day and suddenly seeing what appeared to be a winter wonderland. Good news for winter haters, it wasn't snow.

Shared on Facebook by the Auburn Fire Department, the snow lookalike is actually foam. The foam system is an emergency precuation and some sort of malfunction at the airport caused it to deploy. The Auburn FD answered the call, fearing that some employees were missing inside the foam. Those employees were found to be safe, but the cleanup will be substantial.

Let's cross our fingers that the real snow holds off for a few more months. In the meantime, foam party anyone?
