South Portland High School Student in Custody After Social Media Post

South Portland police have detained a South Portland High School Student after concern over a post on social media.

According to WGME 13, police have the student in custody because of posts made on social media about the school. As of now, police are not saying they are threats but clearly there is some concern over what was posted.

Everyone at the school is safe and classes are continuing as normal. We'll keep you posted as we learn more.
