South Portland voters made marijuana use legal within their city limits joining Portland as the only two communities where people can possess and use the drug, but Lewiston voters rejected the same ballot question, according to WMTW.

The daily television news station reported that South Portland voters approved the measure by a margin of 52 to 48 percent. Meanwhile, Lewiston voters soundly rejected legalizing marijuana in their city by a count of 45 percent yes to 55 percent no, according to WMTW.
