A pro-marijuana group that rejoiced when Portland voters approved recreational use in November suffered a set back Monday night after South Portland City Councilors rejected a similar proposal, according to WMTW.

The Portland television news station reported that South Portland City Councilors unanimously rejected a proposal to legalize Marijuana put forth by the Marijuana Policy Project, which is also trying to legalize pot in York and Lewiston.
