This year is a bit different with our Markathon hero Mark Curdo out of action for health reasons. So we are relying on our Friends and Family to help us through. At CYY, our "family" includes fabulous DJ's from our sister stations who are taking a shift and helping out.
It was a strong first day for our 2017 Friends and Family Edition of Markathon. Thanks to our CYY Friends who came in to donate to the Center for Grieving Children.
Day One of the Friends and Family Edition of Markathon and we are off and running. We will play ANYTHING for a donation to the Center for Grieving Children. Over the years we've raised over $250,000 for this amazing place.

There's a good chance by now you've heard the great news that we raised a record breaking $58,000 for the Center for Grieving Children! Here are the final moments where the total was revealed!
You guys are weird and we love you for it. Bizarre is an adjective that comes to mind as we peruse this documented list of what's gone down so far on Markathon this year. There are also some great songs that have been played. Bottom line, we don't care what it is as long as you dig deep into the crevasses of your wallet and toss some money to the Center for Grieving Children!
The Markathon Online Auction is open! You can bid on these awesome items until this Friday December 11 at 12 p.m. As per ususal, all the proceeds will go to The Center for Grieving Children in order to support grieving children and families.
