Sangillo's

It’s hard to believe that this classic Portland dive bar has been closed for over eight years. It was a place tucked away near Portland’s Old Port that regulars would pack into for some cheap drinks and complimentary bar snacks.

Being part of the final night of Sangillo's was the thing to do on Saturday night.

After losing an appeal to reinstate its liquor license, the small bar on Hampshire Street will close their doors this week.
