Discover the Art of REMZ [PHOTOS]

Check out one of the coolest artists I know. Take a look and I guarantee you'll be a new fan of REMZ! 

I first saw the work of Remz "Remy Di Maggio" some years back thanks to Kurt Baker of The Leftovers. I loved Remz style instantly. Old school in that kooky 60's jazzy, lounge, beatnik, kid's toy advertisement way.

Remz work goes over big with artists and fans in the punk rock, pop rock and rockabilly world. He does poster, t-shirt and album cover designs for musicians all around the world as you'll see below. Bands LOVE to have their art done by Remz.

I had the chance to team up with Remz for an evening I hosted at Asylum with my buddy Kurt Baker. We used to have a weekly DJ set at the club Tuesday Nights playing garage rock, power pop, old wild soul and punk. High energy rock and soul stuff to dance to basically. So we needed the promo efforts to hype up the night to match the coolness of the event. Kurt had worked with Remz before with the Kurt Baker Band. So he reached out to the man and next thing I know, we had out own poster done by the legendary Remz! I got cartoonized!! Check it out!!

Remz is from France, but in recent years moved with his family to Belgium. He continues his work there with his wife and daughter by his side. Such a cool fam! Check out his family self portrait right here ...
