Through his music, former Blink-182 guitarist / vocalist Tom DeLonge has often expressed his belief that “Aliens Exist.” Despite being immensely interested in UFOs, Tom seems to be dedicating even more time to studying the phenomena, claiming, “I can’t tour nine months out of the year with enough time to do the enormity of what I’m setting out to do.”

Blink fans know how intense DeLonge’s UFO beliefs are. Anyone who simply stumbles upon Tom’s personal Facebook page can clearly see how serious he is about the topic. He even wrote an extraterrestrial novel called Sekret Machines, but did Tom exit Blink-182 so he could focus on UFO research?

“Well it's not so much about Blink. It's about what I'm doing with my life now,” DeLonge tells Mic.com. “When you're an individual like me, dealing with something that's a national security issue, and you're being gifted with the opportunity to communicate something you've been passionate about your whole life — something that has the opportunity to change the world over time — being a small part of that is enormously important for my life path. But I can't do everything.”

As for DeLonge’s knowledge of what’s going on beyond the stars, you’re just gonna have to trust him. “I don't think I'm going to be the person that offers the best evidence unless people really trust what I'm doing and believe me,” says Tom. “There's been hundreds and hundreds of thousands of eyewitness accounts. Trace evidence that's been analyzed by scientists across the world. Events have happened on the ground. It's all around us. I know of stuff I can't talk about right now.”

Blink-182 will embark on a massive North American tour beginning June 23 in Bethlehem, Pa. in support of the band’s new album, California.
