The Maine Warden Service has found 29-year old Erica LaChance, who wandered from friends while kayaking Sunday afternoon. She is alive and well.

UPDATE: As of 8:30am Monday morning, Wardens say they found Erica LaChance alive and well after an extensive search. They will release more details later today.

According to the Kennebec Journal, 29-year old Erica LaChance was kayaking down the Kennebec River with friends Sunday afternoon when she was separated from them near Moxie Falls.

Friends of LaChance began searching for her in the early evening hours yesterday and then called the Warden service for help around 7:15 p.m. Since then, the Maine Warden Service as well as a search and rescue team have been tracking the area with dogs. She was last seen multi-colored pink and purple bikini top, black exercise shorts, black and pink boat shoes, and a thin Under Armour head band.
