Incredibly, 67-year-old Louis Demers survives getting run over by a semi that was all caught on a store surveillance camera!
The video shows Louis crossing, but the light turned green and the driver didn't see her. She's a Thomaston employee who was heading to the post office. The truck knocks her down, then runs over her legs.
The driver got out of his truck as soon as he realized what happened to help! Other witnesses rushed to also help. Witnesses say she was coherent and knew what happened. She is in fair condition at Maine Medical Center, and the accident is under investigation.
