Watch: Man Sings His Own Version of Adele’s “Hello” in Hopes of Minimizing His Sentence

I guess it can't hurt to try. What I find funniest about this video is that the courtroom seems completely unphased as this man sings his way through his adapted version of Adele's Hello, filled with apologies.

Meet 21-year-old in Michigan named Brian Earl Taylor. The solid attempt didn't appear to work out in his favor as the judge sentenced him to 17 years for carrying a concealed weapon and unlawfully imprisoning someone.
