Run the Jewels pulled out all of the stops for their appearance on last night’s (Sept. 15) Late Show With Stephen Colbert -- including a few special guests.

When introducing RtJ during yesterday’s Late Show broadcast, Colbert astutely observed, “Tonight’s musical guest is so hip, their backup band is TV on the Radio.” Killer Mike and El-P then launched into an incredible performance of “Angel Duster” with added help from Tunde Adebimpe and company, plus a string section. If you missed it last night, you can still catch the performance in the video at the top of the page.

The rap duo’s current and seemingly unending tour behind their breakthrough sophomore effort, last year’s Run the Jewels 2, continues Sept. 19 in Killer Mike’s stomping grounds in Atlanta. They have more U.S. dates lined up through Oct. 24, when they’ll play a show in Royal Oak, Mich. They’re also slated to appear at Corona Capital Festival in Mexico City on Nov. 21. Check out RtJ’s complete tour itinerary at their website.

TV on the Radio also have a few upcoming shows on the books in support of 2014's Seeds, including a couple of festival appearances at the inaugural Landmark Festival in D.C. on Sept. 27 and Austin City Limits on Oct. 3 and 10. Get more details right here.
