Watch Rustic Overtones Play at Zootz in Portland 20 Years Ago!

We came across some vintage footage of Rustic Overtones playing at the legendary club Zootz here in Portland! This was pretty cool for me to see as I missed the Zootz era by a couple of years. I've heard some stories. Located at 31 Forest Ave in Portland (now Sanctuary Tattoo), it was the club to go to for shows and dancing. Did you know Nirvana opened for Dinosaur Jr. there in 1991? It's been said that was the loudest show ever at the club. Smashing Pumpkins also played that same year. Nuts!

20 years later, Rustic will be at Port City Music Hall for a CYY show on Sunday night for Old Port Fest!
