WCYY Welcomes Host of @Midnight and Talking Dead, Chris Hardwick, To The State Theater

It's been one heck of a career for Chris Hardwick. Introduced to most Americans as the initial host of MTV's popular game show, Singled Out, Hardwick has hosted, starred and written for many notable projects since. Lost in all of his Hollywood success, is that Hardwick is also a tremendous stand up comic. WCYY welcome Hardwick to Portland for his State Theater stand-up performance on Wednesday, June 8th.

Hardwick's roots include being a popular DJ for west coast staple KROQ in the mid 90's, he then became host of Singled Out with Jenny McCarthy on MTV. You may also remember the spinoff of E!'s popular show, The Soup, called Web Soup that he hosted on the now defunct G4 network. Hardwick's return to pop culture fame came when he began hosting Talking Dead in 2011. The recap show of the Walking Dead began drawing huge ratings and alerted fans to Hardwick's other ventures, including his longtime Nerdist podcast and his new late night gameshow @Midnight.

Hardwick's current stand up tour is called Id10t. For his State Theater appearance, there will be reserved seating with tickets priced at $35. Tickets officially go on-sale to the general public Friday, April 22nd at noon.
