Russell Westbrook didn't get his triple-double but he did enough to help his Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Boston Celtics 99-96 Sunday night.

The Thunder closed out the game on a 19-8 run. Westbrook finished with 37 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. His triple-double streak stops at seven games.

The Celtics had a chance to force overtime when Marcus Smart dribbled down the floor and took an open look three pointer. It bounced of the side of the rim at the buzzer.

Al Horford had 19 points, Avery Bradley had 18 to lead the C's.

The Celtics are now 13-11 with a game at San Antonio next on Wednesday.
