What Is Maine’s Favorite Beer and Liquor? Survey Says….
A social media app called BARTRENDr compiled data from all 50 states and found people's favorite beer and liquor across the country. Here's the results.
Brobible.com compiled all the data, and it turns out that Mainers LOVE.....Budweiser! Minnesota is the only other state that listed the King of Beers as its favorite. Bud Light on the other hand scored a victory in 33 states, making it America's most popular beer.
As far as liquor goes, well Mainers love them some Fireball. Having lived in Maine my entire life, I'm hardly surprised that a form of whiskey tops the list. The winters are long and cold, and whiskey is warm and delicious. Also, whiskey is popular. 41 other states chose some form of whiskey as their most popular liquor.
A couple of highlights include Utah's favorite beer which is: Polygamy Nitro Porter. That almost sounds like it's complete made up. And apparently people in the midwest still can't get enough of Jagermeister, Indiana and Iowa are the only two states to list it as their favorite booze.
