Hey it's Mark! I'm super psyched about these guys coming to town next Monday. Their album, Ours is Chrome is may favorite record of the year. Every time I've shared something about them or posted something on my own personal FB page; people always take to this band. That's a pretty cool sign. Not everyone reacts to new music in public like that. This band captures a lot of people on one listen. The sound and songs are there!

For those unaware, Superheaven's sound is massive. It's got a 90's modern rock thing going on like Failure meets Weezer, but with a Seattle '91 attitude and obvious lack of enthusiasm. I don't mean that negatively! It's simply the best bummer rock record I've heard in a long while. The band isn't new though. Formerly known as Daylight, the band changed their name a few years back to Superheaven, the Pennsylvania band lightened up a bit on their sound. Although they don't play a hardcore style anymore, fans of that scene have very awesomely continued to support them. They will on the 12th too, just watch and see. You should go! Wanna go for free?
