According to EliteDaily, there's a new smartphone app on the market called Bark N' Borrow that will allow you to borrow a stranger's dog for a few hours to fill the void or need for a little companionship.

The app goes through all of the normal personal information requirements that you'd find on "dating" apps like Tinder and OKCupid, but then takes it a step further by running a background check on potential "borrowers". From there, you can browse the profiles of local pooches that have been set up by there owners. Once you find a dog that looks appealing, you can contact the owner and hang with your new dog friend. It's that simple.

Additionally, the app will help puppy sitters find new puppies to watch over, as dog owners can make known that they're looking for a qualified puppy sitter and then match up that way.

So here's the world in 2015, we now have Tinder or Uber for dogs, dog owners and perspective dog lovers. The Bark N' Borrow app is free to download on the app store.
