One of the best things in the whole wide world is Sunday Brunch, don't you agree?  It's an opportunity to have a fancy drink before noon on a Sunday.  Mine usually includes alcohol, but you do you.

When I moved to Maine a few years ago, it was my mission to find the best Sunday brunch experience, and I believe I found it.

Because you and I are friends, I decided to tell you where you can get the best brunch and the BEST BUNS in the WORLD.  This is highly coveted information that I hesitated to tell you about because this place isn't huge, the chef is AMAZING and sometimes, (most Sundays) they run out of their delicious buns, so if you get there before I do because of my big mouth, I'll be upset.

Before we get to that place, let me tell you about a couple of my other all-time favorite brunch places.  If these places aren't close to you, trust me and take a road trip.

THE FRIENDLY TOAST, PORTSMOUTH, NH

Very hard to put into words how much I love the Friendly Toast.  I have seen this place grow from a 24 hour hang with good, solid comfort food, to a 'more than one location' place with food that would make Martha Stewart proud.  I love the Toast so much.  They do not disappoint.  Their waitstaff, their food, all amazing.  In an eclectic atmosphere sure to please everyone in your family.

PARKER'S MAPLE BARN, MASON, NH

Parker's is famous for breakfast.  On the weekend, you might have to wait over an hour to be seated, but it's soooo worth it.  Parker's pancakes are award-winning.  While you wait, you can shop at the Corn Crib.  It has many New Hampshire gift items, clothes, jewelry and of course, maple syrup.

THE WILDER, PORTSMOUTH, NH

This place has a super cool, hip vibe to it.  Easy parking as The Wilder is right across the street from the Parking Garage in Downtown Portsmouth.  They have a full bar with a delicious menu.  I would get there early if I were you.  The place fills up quickly, but it's huge, so they probably have enough room for you.

THE CRACKER BARREL, LONDONDERRY, NH, SOUTH PORTLAND, MAINE

I know... it's a chain, but I love this place!  It's comfort food all the way.  You can get breakfast and lunch at any time, so that's a bonus.  Plus, before you get to the restaurant, you can browse through the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store.  They have a lot of great stuff!  My sister Susan is one of the customer service people at the store and she is amazing at showing me (and everyone else) all the cool stuff the Cracker Barrel has for sale.  If you have to wait and shopping isn't your thing, you can rock in one of the rocking chairs on the porch.

THE BEST BRUNCH / BUNS ON THE PLANET BELONG TO..... THE GOOD TABLE, CAPE ELIZABETH, MAINE

Lisa, the owner, is just a phenomenal chef.  Never have I ever.... Had a bad meal at the Good Table in Cape Elizabeth, Maine.  I used to live around the corner from this place and if I rode my bicycle there, I could justify having one of these incredible cinnamon buns.  If I didn't ride my bike there, I would make up another excuse why I deserved one of these bad boys.  They are the best I've ever had in my life.  Believe me when I tell you that you are not living your best life if you've never had one.  My favorite server is Kaylin, but they are all great there at the Good Table.  You can make a reservation for the weekends and I suggest you do.  They are super busy because the buns are to die for.  Seriously, I live about an hour away now and I still make the trip up from time to time.
