Well, this may just be your Sunday plans if you're a comic book aficionado. A living comic book uber legend is going to be in Salem, New Hampshire, at Little Giant Comics and Collectibles at the Mall at Rockingham Park, across from the Tuscan Village.

Do you know the name Jim Steranko?  Whether you do or don't doesn't take away from your superfan status, because if you absolutely love Nick Fury and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Captain America, The Hulk, Superman, and the X-Men, then you are a fan of Jim, too.

As a matter of fact, FanCons.com says that Steranko has even collaborated with filmmakers Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, and Francis Ford Coppola, and also created the look for Indiana Jones.

He's even called one of the prime architects of Marvel Comics.  Now I'm going to be upfront with you. I'm not a comic book person, and only randomly see Marvel movies for their adventure and super cool action.  However, even I know this is a massive opportunity because of the iconic role Marvel plays in the entertainment world.

According to FanCons.com:

Jim has cut a ferocious path through the entertainment arts, with a dozen successful careers to his credit: author, magician, illustrator, escape artist, historian. He is cited as one of the prime architects of Marvel Comics and the co-creator of NICK FURY, AGENT OF S.H.I.E.L.D. He also wrote and drew CAPTAIN AMERICA, THE HULK, SUPERMAN, and THE X-MEN (for which he designed the classic title logo); generated more than 150 original storytelling devices and techniques that changed the direction of the comics medium, and evolved a devoted cult of followers who have nicknamed him The Innovator. WIZARD magazine credits Steranko as the 5th Most Influential Artist in the history of the form.
