Being from Tampa Bay, Florida, this kind of thing happened to me many times, especially when I went to the beach where seagulls outnumbered tourists three to one. So, it's no big deal to see a seagull stealing someone's food. What makes the above picture epic is the close-up of the bird swooping in to grab a bite of Alicia Jessop's lobster roll. It's as if the creature knew she was about to snap a pic and wanted to make a cameo. It's the ultimate photo bomb.

Jessop is a sports law professor and a contributor to the Washington Post. She was visiting Nubble Lighthouse and Fox’s Lobster House in York, Maine. According to her Twitter page, this is the first lobster roll she has ever enjoyed… Well… technically, it was her second. She bought another one after the sneaky seagull stole her first roll. Jessop tweeted that she spent $43. For an unforgettable experience and a perfectly (un)timed picture that has gone viral, we think it was worth it.
