A New England Couple Renovated a Prison Bus as Their Rolling Tiny Home
Meag and Ben Poirier challenged their lifestyle and took on a renovation project that would lead to a more adventurous life. In the process, they also paid off over $100K in student loan and vehicle debt and gained a new outlook on life.
The pair hail from Maine and New Hampshire, which is where they choose to travel and hike with their tiny home on wheels.
Their home began as an old 1989 Chevy prison bus. The pair set to work gutting the bus and giving it all the comforts of home. Even their dog has a place in the bus.
The interior is cozy but bright and boasts everything needed to live life on the go. The couple's Instagram account, @wilddrivelife, is updated frequently with progress photos and shots of the adventures they've taken since moving their lives to an old prison bus.
