So how do you stand out in a crowded restaurant scene in Maine? Cast a spell on your customers, that's how. That's what the owners of A Perfect Spell plan on doing come September, as they plan to open a themed restaurant in Pownal, Maine that takes diners on magical adventure featuring wizards, witches and plenty of imagination.

NOTE: The restaurant is not officially associated with Harry Potter

According to the Sun-Journal, the pair behind The Perfect Spell are the former owners of the popular House Of Bacon in Auburn, which closed in early-August. Instead, they decided to follow their ever-evolving dreams, which is open "pop-up" restaurants that last only one year, with a specific theme to the theatrical performances put on and a menu that fits the theme.

The Perfect Spell will do just that. When customers show up, they'll be put into wizard training by the head master of the restaurant. In order to eat, you'll have to pass your first class. From there, diners will enjoy a delicious meal while the performance takes place in front of them. Each "show" will be for a maximum of 30 people, and performances will only take place on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

The Perfect Spell will be a reservation-only engagement. The restaurant/theater has their grand opening on Friday, September 13th (ahhh) and promises to close down for good on Halloween night of 2020. The Perfect Spell will be located in the old North Pownal General Store location at 83 Fickett Road.
