A group of protesters gathered on Monument Square in Portland a day after the election and greeted passing motorists and pedestrians with calls for change from Washington, D.C., to Augusta as part of the Million Mask March taking place worldwide.One protester held up a cardboard sign that read, "Not My Governor," on one side and "How Do You Spell Succession," on the other side. When asked if the protest was in response to Gov. Paul LePage winning reelection and the election results in general, he replied that it wasn't.

When asked if they are an off shoot of the Occupy movement, he said they are not because they don't want to occupy any businesses, banks or government offices. They just want to wake people up that their country and government has serious issues that need to be addressed.
