The Auburn Police Department released surveillance video of a man wearing a cowboy hat and they couldn't help but reference a classic country song that made it to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 charts in 1975.

The man in question is a suspect in a theft at Cumberland Farms on Center Street in Auburn and police are calling him "The Rhinestone Cowboy." It's a reference to a country song by the late Glenn Campbell that, believe it or not, went to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1975. It was a weird time in pop music compared to today's standards.

Since you may be a little too young to remember Rhinestone Cowboy, here's all the cheesy 70's country music you will ever need.
