
Banana Ball is Coming Back to Portland, Maine, in 2026
Each and every summer in Maine, people pile into Delta Dental Park at Hadlock Field to enjoy a Portland Sea Dogs game.
The experience inside the park is one of the best throughout the minor leagues. But for a pair of days in July, an entirely wild baseball experience will take over Hadlock Field.

Banana Ball is Returning to Portland, Maine, in July 2026
Announced on ESPN, the all-new Banana Ball Championship League is going to hit the road next summer to bring their unique style of baseball to a massive audience.
Banana ball was brought to fame by the Savannah Bananas, who appeared at Hadlock Field in 2023.
Since then, their 'World Famous Baseball Circus' has exploded in popularity, inspiring an entire league of teams.
Two of those teams, the Texas Tailgaters and Loco Beach Coconuts will face off on Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25 at Hadlock Field.
Tickets For Banana Ball in Portland, Maine, Can Only Be Secured Through a Lottery
The Banana Ball phenomenon has grown so popular and become in-demand that the only way to get tickets is through a lottery system.
If you're interested in seeing the battle between the Texas Tailgaters and Loco Beach Coconuts next July in Portland, Maine, you need to enter the ticket lottery by October 31, 2025.
If you're selected in the lottery, you'll have an opportunity to purchase tickets approximately two months prior to the July showdown at Hadlock.
