TripAdvisor has released their list of the '25 Best Hidden Gem Restaurants in America' for 2023. It includes a popular mom-and-pop lobster shack that has been serving up heaping helpings of fresh Maine lobster to growing crowds.

The Travelin' Lobster was named the #18 best hidden gem restaurant in America for 2023. TripAdvisor reviewers gave the Travelin' Lobster glowing remarks for their diverse menu featuring comfort food like mac and cheese alongside great seafood staples.

But the face that it's Bar Harbor in Maine, you know the focus is going to be on lobster rolls. The Travelin' Lobster offers up a wide range of fresh lobster rolls that earned a pile of positive reviews.

You can get grab a hot roll filled with lobster slathered in butter or a classic roll, prepared New England-style. You can also get a naked roll, which is just straight up fresh lobster for you to devour.

One extra offering The Travelin' Lobster got high marks for was the size variations of their lobster rolls. Depending your appetite, you can grab a mini, small or large when you visit.

The Travelin' Lobster has closed for the winter but they'll be ready to crank out great food when the weather warms up again.
