Memorial bikers showed their support in the thousands this weekend in New Hampshire.

When seven motorcycle enthusiasts were tragically killed in an accident, their friends and fellow bikers decided to organize a memorial bike ride to honor the fallen seven. They originally anticipated about 50 bikers.

According to centralmaine.com, more than 3,000 bikers participated on Saturday in the ride from Laconia to Randolph.

WOW! What an amazing show of support!

Seven members of the Jarheads Motorcycle Club were killed in an accident with a pickup truck. The driver of the truck is in custody on charges of negligent homicide.

According to centralmaine.com, Steve Allison, the organizer of the event told WMUR-TV that he was “overwhelmed” with the turnout.

The event went viral on social media sites and drew bikers from as far as Florida and California.  Members of the biking community are a tight group, so what a way to honor their friends and fellow bikers.

Correction: An earlier version of this article incorrectly stated that the crash happened during Laconia Bike Week, which is June 8-16. The crash occurred on June 21.
