Border Wars: New Hampshire Officially Considered Smarter Than Maine
The comments section should (hopefully) pop off for this one, with Granite Staters backing this recent study and Mainers talking smack in defense.
Seriously though, let's have some sarcastic fun with this, especially since there's just too much stupid and negative happening in the world right now.
New Hampshire vs Maine
Although it's mainly only seen or talked about in the college sports world whenever the University of New Hampshire Wildcats goes head-to-head with the University of Maine Black Bears in any sport, there's a bit of a rivalry that exists between the 603 and the 207.
Who has the better beaches, Maine or New Hampshire?
Which of the two states has the better schools?
Between NH and Maine, who has the better theme parks?
Is it better and more beautiful to hike through the mountain areas in New Hampshire or Maine?
And while the answers to all those questions are pretty opinion-based, a factual bit of information has just come out after a study conducted by Betmassachusetts.com.
New Hampshire is More Tech-Savvy Than Maine
According to the study, Betmassachusetts.com looked at which states have the most tech jobs in the country as well as collecting data on SAT and IQ scores, degrees, fraud, and FBI fraud data to determine which states are the most tech-savvy in the country.
And while we're going to bury the headline that Massachusetts is not only considered the most tech-savvy state in New England, but also the entire country after capturing the #1 spot, the story is the border war between New Hampshire and Maine, because it's truly not even close.
According to the Betmassachusetts.com study, New Hampshire is the #17 most tech-savvy state in the country, while Maine is way down on the list, checking in at #31.
For the record, to round out the rest of the New England states, Vermont checked in at #20, Rhode Island at #37, and no one cares about Connecticut (kidding, they're seen more as part of the Tri-State region with Jersey and New York.)
