By the way, they found it. Duh.

A lot of people had an initial thought that if you stole one of those motorized carts from Walmart - how far could you truly go? There are so many snarky, funny, hilarious comments that when the Brunswick Police Department posted they were looking for help - they blocked comments. I get it - you're a legit organization trying to do your job, you ain't got time for that. They ended up finding it pretty quickly.

But...when News Center Maine put it up on their Facebook page, no comment was restricted and people were having a blast with it!

Look for someone who is extremely stupid.

I'm ready to watch the live chase via helicopter cam.

Ride like the wind!

Maine turning into Florida.

I'm sure you'll find it in a snowbank.

Blame it on gas prices!

When I first came across this story, I thought that someone had smacked into the Auburn Walmart pole. I gotta be honest, I was kinda thrilled to see that another Walmart was getting some attention!

By the way, Brunswick police provided no details about where it was found. It certainly couldn't have gotten very far. People who have used them, say the charge won't even last for a shopping trip. I've always wanted to use one, but have had no legitimate excuse for actually getting in one. I'm well past the age of having the stupidity of getting in one and not caring. I would worry that someone who really needed it wouldn't have it, because 'I was curious.'

Here's hoping that we all don't want to steal motorized carts because of gas prices...
