As more and more people install dash cams onto their automobiles, the more exposure idiotic and dangerous driving moves get. Most of the driving maneuvers caught and shared through social media in Maine just make people shake their head, but the short clip shared on YouTube by the_wr3n is almost like a horror movie taking place in real life.

The clip starts off harmless enough with a line of traffic moving along a relatively narrow two-lane road. But things quickly escalate when a driver in the line decides to execute a pass. Making matters worse, they're going to attempt a pass on a slight curve with a clear blind spot. It's legal based on the road lines, but as you can see on the dash cam, it's dangerous.

That's when time seemingly stops for the driver with the dash cam. You can hear that driver's tone change as they see what's unfolding in front of them. They're watching in real time as the SUV driver blasts by another vehicle along the curve only to be faced with a tractor trailer coming in the opposite direction.

Thankfully, this dash video doesn't end in tragedy. The SUV driver sneaks by the car they're passing and narrowly misses a head-on collision with the tractor trailer that was laying on their horn. This video was caught along a busy stretch of Route 136. When the video was shared on Reddit, commenters had this to say:

"I'd swear, of the worst/most dangerous driving I've seen in Maine, probably at least half of it is on 136" -FITM-K

"136 is notorious for this type of stuff" -SaigonK

"I thought he passed out and was going over the rail. What a d!psh#t. That section of 136 has taken a few lives" -cerebralailment
