Disturbed’s new album Immortalized comes out on Aug. 21 and the group has just released the lyric video for the title track. The song kicks off with a heavy guitar part and the lyrics “This is wartime / This is our time / We won’t be denied.” You can watch the official 4-minute lyric clip above.

This is the second song released by the band after a nearly four year hiatus and five years from their latest album, Asylum. They dropped the first new track, “The Vengeful One,” and its corresponding music video last month (watch that here). Disturbed have also released the track listing for their upcoming disc and “Immortalized” is the second song on the disc. The standard edition album offers up 13 songs, including a cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s tune “The Sound of Silence.” Check out the full track listing here.

Frontman David Draiman recently said of their upcoming disc, “For this album, everything was written in the same room. It was wonderful experiencing how it used to be back in the day for us. That became apparent in the material, whether it was the passion of the performance, the power being harnessed, or the feelings evoked. We could feel the difference.”

Disturbed have been secretly working on Immortalized since 2014. Draiman shed some light on why and how they kept their progress on the new album so secret. "It took a lot of effort to do that; a lot of white lies and NDAs [non-disclosure agreements] and story telling; a lot of family and friends getting pissed off at you because you won’t really tell them everything that’s going on,” Draiman revealed. “So it was a burden that I’m glad we no longer have to carry. And the surprise factor has definitely seemed to work. It was part of our plan all along to kind of come out of nowhere.”

Head here to pre-order Immortalized in a variety of editions. The band is offering both a standard and deluxe edition of their new disc. The deluxe bundle includes three extra tracks.
