Business at Rock Row in Westbrook, Maine, Announces Permanent Closure
One of the fastest growing developments in the entire state of Maine is currently going on in Westbrook. That would be Rock Row, which plans to have a sprawling campus filled with retail, entertainment, housing and medical options when the project is complete.
While the medical campus as part of Rock Row is planning its grand opening in early 2025, the retail sector of the development is about to be down one business.
Shared on Facebook, DripBar Westbrook has announced that they plan to close their Rock Row location at the end of December. Their last day of operations will be Monday, December 30.
No firm reason was given to explain why DripBar was permanently closing. In their goodbye post, the business stated:
"Getting to know our valued members and clients has been a wonderful experience. We thank you for your patronage. As vitamin therapy continues to grow, we're hopeful that more options will become available in the area to support demand"
DripBar will be the first business to close as part of the Rock Row development. The retail sector is anchored by Market Basket, which opened more than four years ago.
Rock Row's plans still remain as ambitious as ever. According to the Portland Press Herald, Cinemark has agreed to a deal that will see them open their first Maine location in Westbrook as part of the Rock Row development.
Beyond the new movie theater, there will also be a massive new restaurant as well. That restaurant will offer patrons a unique "open flame" dining experience. The entertainment sector of Rock Row is expected to open sometime in 2026.
