Edible Seaweed Startup in Biddeford Wins $100,000 on TV Competition

Great news for Biddeford and Ocean’s Balance! The new company that produces and sells edible seaweed products has won Greenlight Maine's tv show competition, and its $100,000 top prize.

According to the Maine Startup Insider, the company was started in 2016 and produces a line of innovative seaweed products that are healthy for you and the planet.

Greenlight Maine is television show airing on WCSH6 and WLBZ2, and it features Maine-based businesses as well as a competition for $100,000 to jumpstart or help a local Maine business along.
