Winter activities in Maine include some high-adrenaline fun like snowboarding down a huge mountain or taking a ride on a snowmobile for hundreds of miles over a weekend. Even tubing down a giant hill is a massive thrill. But for many, it’s the peaceful quietness and beauty of winter that’s the real highlight.

The stunning Pineland Farms in New Gloucester, Maine has been offering Full-Moon snowshoe hikes and the last one of this season is only a month away.
