Four Years Ago Today, Mumford and Sons Took Over the Eastern Prom Here in Portland [PICS/VIDEO]

You didn't even need to be a Mumford and Sons fan, it was the event to be at on August 4, 2012. Fans flocked from all over to see the band perform one of their four Gentlemen of the Road Stopover dates. The prom hosted 15,000 people that day for what many agree was one of Portland's best events in recent years. It was also the first time most people heard their massive hit "I Will Wait" (above). Acts like Haim, St. Vincent and our neighbors from Boston the Dropkick Murphy's joined Mumford for a sold out event.
