One of the fastest-growing chain stores in America has officially opened in Maine and there's a good chance you've never heard of it.

It's called Gong Cha. It started as a small bubble tea spot in Taiwan and has rapidly expanded around the globe. Gong Cha now operated more than 2,000 locations in 28 different countries and is considered a global leader in bubble tea.

Gong Cha began an aggressive expansion into the northeast market a couple of years ago, opening several locations across Massachusetts and into New Hampshire.

On Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28, Gong Cha plans to celebrate their first Maine location with two days filled with amazing offers, giveaways and some serious prizes.

On both days, the first 100 people through the door will receive a free medium beverage or a Gong Cha key ring.

Gong Cha will also be offering buy one, get one free on their top 5 drinks all weekend long.

And if you attend the grand opening event and post on social media, you're entered into the drawing to win a pair of Beats headphones, a brand new TV or a Nintendo Switch.

Gong Cha Has a Unique Multi-Step Process For Ordering

Gong Cha has a five-step ordering process to customize your bubble tea beverage. You start by choosing a category of beverage followed by your tea base.

From there, you choose your temperature level, sweetness level and whether or not you want to add any toppings to your bubble tea.

Gong Cha's customization and consistent flavors have propelled the chain into global fame.

Gong Cha Opened its First U.S. Store A Decade Ago

Gong Cha built its name over 15 years predominately in Asian markets but decided to take their brand of bubble tea global in 2016.
