One of the city's most popular events, Harvest on the Harbor, is back for its 19th edition, running from October 30 through November 1, at the Maine Studio Works. The event celebrates all things culinary, with showcases featuring local chefs, bartenders, creators, innovators, and makers.

Originally launched in 2007, Harvest on the Harbor continues to be one of Portland’s premier annual events, especially fitting given the city's outstanding and ever-growing culinary reputation.

What Events Will Be Featured at This Year's Harvest on the Harbor?

Opening Night: The Maine Pour - Thurs, Oct 30
This fan favorite is always one of the hottest tickets of the weekend. The Maine Pour features samples of local craft beverages and the creators behind them. This year’s lineup includes 10 different cocktail companies and seven food providers, including Maiz and Fuzzy Udder Creamery.

The Maine Lobster Chef of the Year Contest - Fri, Oct 31
Lobster lovers, this one’s for you. Some of Maine’s finest chefs will compete for the title of Lobster Chef of the Year. Guests will sample each dish and enjoy beverages from local companies like Après and Blue Lobster Urban Winery.

From the Sea: A Coastal Celebration + Oyster Shucking Competition - Fri, Oct 31
This meet and greet event allows guests to enjoy many of the finest delights that come from Maine's waters, along other fun products. They will also get to meet many of the folks behind Maine's wonderful aquaculture scene.
