National Chain The Little Gym Opens Location in Scarborough, Maine

If you're unfamiliar with The Little Gym, an educator and kinesiologist named Robin Wes had a vision for a place children could gather to get physical energy out while socializing to foster friendships and personal growth.

Wes opened the first Little Gym in Washington nearly 50 years ago. The chain of non-competitive, positive-energy gyms have set up more than 300 locations across the globe, including one of their latest in Scarborough, Maine.

Where is The Little Gym and What is it All About?

The Little Gym is located next to HomeGoods in Scarborough. At the root of The Little Gym, they are a gymnastics space, offering class schedules for pre-k and grade school kids as well as classes that combine parents and children.

There are memberships or one-time class fees available to those that are curious. The Little Gym keeps their class size small so everyone gets a full interactive experience with plenty of socialization.
