The Boston Bruins fell to the New York Rangers 3-2 last night in another preseason game that featured lots of young players trying to make the team.

One of them is goalie Jonas Gustavsson. The former Detroit Red Wing is trying to win the Tuukka Rask backup spot and played well against the Rangers, making 24 saves.

Brett Connolly scored both goals for the B's.

The Bruins play one more exhibition game, against Washington tomorrow night, and then the regular season begins next Thursday.
