Burlington Finally Announces Grand Opening Date for New Augusta, Maine Store

Well, we finally have an opening date!

Earlier this year, I shared the exciting news that Burlington, formerly known as Burlington Coat Factory, was making its way to Augusta. At the time, we knew the popular discount retailer was coming to the Turnpike Mall, but we didn’t know exactly when those doors would open.

Now we do.

Burlington Opens September 25

According to Burlington’s website, the new Augusta location will officially open on Friday, September 25, at 42 Whitten Road, Suite 1.

The store is moving into the former Bed Bath & Beyond space at the Turnpike Mall and will become Burlington’s third location in Maine.

And honestly, it’s another great addition to an area that has really been growing.

Between new stores coming into the Turnpike Mall and all the shopping, restaurants, and businesses popping up around Augusta, there are more reasons than ever to spend a day in Maine’s capital city.

Burlington will bring another affordable shopping option to the area, with clothing for the whole family, shoes, accessories, beauty products, and home décor.

September 25 will be here before we know it, and I’m excited to check it out! I used to go to Burlington all the time in Portland, because my mom always wanted to go there.
