Harlem Globetrotters Are Returning to Augusta, Maine With an All-New Rivalry Tour
If you grew up in Central Maine, there’s a pretty good chance you remember the Harlem Globetrotters coming to Augusta. I know I do. They’ve been making stops at the Augusta Civic Center since I was a kid, and it’s one of those events that’s just always a good time.
And now, they’re coming back.
The Harlem Globetrotters Return to Augusta
The Harlem Globetrotters Rivalry Tour is coming to the Augusta Civic Center on February 9, 2027, and this time around, things are getting a little more competitive.
Of course, you’ll still get everything you expect from the Globetrotters: ridiculous dunks, basketball tricks, comedy and plenty of moments that make you wonder how they actually pulled that off.
But the Rivalry Tour is adding new opponents, new challenges and even more ways for the crowd to get involved.
The Washington Generals will be there, along with a new lineup of rivals who apparently think they have what it takes to finally take down the Globetrotters.
Such a Fun Night for Basketball Fans
This is one of those events that works whether your kid is completely obsessed with basketball or you just want something fun to do as a family.
Fans can actually become part of the action, help decide what happens and potentially even get pulled onto the court.
