
Maine Man That Was Struck By Two Cars in One Night Has Died
It's very unfortunate for anyone to ever be struck by a motor vehicle, however, it's even more unfortunate for someone to be struck by two vehicles in the same night. That, according to a Maine news station, is exactly what happened to a man on Sunday night.

According to WGME 13, a man has now died following injuries sustained during an incident on Sunday evening. The news station says that on Sunday evening at about 9:15pm, a man was in the road near Forest Ave and Walton Street when he was struck by a car.
The first driver stopped and attempted to render aid immediately
The driver of the first car, a 22-year-old female, immediately stopped and got out in an attempt to render aid to the struck pedestrian. As she was making her way to the man, another vehicle, driven by a 62-year-old male from Portland, struck the man a second time.

The news station is reporting today that following the multiple vehicle strikes, the injured man was quickly transported by emergency crews to Maine Medical Center for prompt treatment of his injuries. However, due to the nature and the extent of the injuries sustained, the man passed away.
No charges are currently pending against either of the drivers involved
Police say that at this time the incident is still under investigation and that there are no charges against either driver currently pending. It's also unknown to the public whether the man was in a crosswalk at the time of the accident.
