Help Us Find Fuzz: Missing Family Dog in Maine
On September 4, 2024, Fuzz went missing in Maine.
She is a female black Lab/Pit mix, and her Mom and Dad are beside themselves with panic and sadness.
One thing we Maine folks are good at is rallying around a family in need so I know you can help.
She took off after shots were fired at the shooting range in North Vassalboro and hasn't been back since. If you do see her, please do not chase her.
Her mom, Jenny, says Fuzz is a rescue dog that is very intimidated but is great and isn't mean or aggressive. She was rescued and had been abused. Jenny told me she took off from Main Street toward Winslow.
She is wearing a bright orange collar and is about 8 or 9 years old. She is a mother, and in her past life has given birth to 9 puppies, hence her large nipples.
Losing a dog is so unbelievably heartbreaking. The silence in the house feels terrible without their barks or the sound of their paws on the floor.
Because every spot in your home has a memory of your pup, where they would sleep, eat, and even their favorite spot by the window.
The uncertainty of where they are or if they’re safe is totally agonizing, and the emptiness is a reminder of their absence. It's like losing a piece of your heart, and all you want is to have them back home, safe and sound, so can you help this Maine pup return home?
If anyone sees Fuzz please let us know or call Jenny at (860) 549-2590!
